The objectives of community development programme are improving the well-being and quality of life for communities, particularly those in need. The objectives of the Programme are mentioned below:

  2. Education: Enhancing access to quality education and promoting lifelong learning by establishing schools, providing scholarships, and offering adult education program.
  3. Healthcare: Improving healthcare access and services by establishing clinics, providing medical supplies, and conducting health awareness campaigns.
  4. Infrastructure Development: Building or improving essential community infrastructure such as clean water supply, sanitation facilities etc.
  5. Capacity Building: Empowering community members through training and skill development programs, so they can become self-reliant and take an active role in their own development.
  6. Advocacy and Awareness: Raising awareness about community issues and advocating for policy changes that benefit the community’s development.
  7. Disaster Relief and Preparedness: Providing support during emergencies and helping communities prepare for disasters to minimize their impact.
  8. Community Empowerment: Facilitating community-driven development processes, where local residents actively participate in decision-making and the planning and implementation of projects.
  9. Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): Aligning their work with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, which encompass a wide range of social, economic, and environmental objective. Specially focused on SDG -1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 11 & 12.
  10. Collaborative Partnerships: Collaborating with other organizations, government agencies, and local stakeholders to maximize the impact of community development efforts.
